Feeling down? How about a Sunshine Enema?

Not long ago, I talked about Hollerado and the unique album packaging of Record In A Bag.  Still one of my favorites, but I think this one is a close tie.

A friend of mine showed me this the other day.  Despite the fact it's not my typical taste in music, I couldn't help but find myself curious simply because of the packaging.

Introducing the Sunshine Enema!  Almost makes an enema sound good, doesn't it?

Better known as Marrow, the less-than-typical classically trained electronic trio comes from San Francisco. And their goal?  To move your gloomy ass.

Everyone knows that it's not as easy to get your music noticed - almost anyone can make a plain old CD. They're a dime a dozen.  I came back with nearly a suitcase full from CMW and SXSW.  Have I listened to any of them?  Not likely.  But...had someone given me something like this, I would have definitely been intrigued.

Along with Marrow's latest release, they even offer fans a few different ways to blow some sunshine up your miserable ass.  I'd rather not give a sales pitch on here - but these are too good not to share.

Ideas like this are the ones that stand out.  Have an upcoming album release?  Take note!

Good on ya, Marrow.

yeah - I actually bought the master cleanse kit due to the packaging personally. I don't mind their sound, but that's because I have pretty broad tastes in music. Correction: I can't stand rap music. They are talented though.
