What do you get when you mix 24 dancers and 420ish consecutive movements?
A human 8-bit experiment and a music video for Hollerado's Americanarama, obviously.
You've heard me talk about the genius marketing of Hollerado's Record in a Bag - but just when I thought these guys couldn't come up with something even cooler - well, let's just say my foot is in my mouth.
Kudos to Greg Jardin for directing what might be one of the best videos this year.
I'm not going to go into details because it's already been written about extensively (and let's face it, I suck at writing about ground-breaking news)...so check out what some of these more influential folks had to say about it:
"Why make a sweet video when you can make a holycrappershowdeydodat video?!"...more on the Much Music blog.
"And the video seems to be, largely, about Philadelphia. So where, exactly, are these guys coming from? Well, to judge by this new clip, it looks like the early to-mid '80s!" ...more on MTV Buzzworthy.
"Wacky Canadian indie quartet Hollerado have managed to do what few bands are able to: live up to the hype of their press releases and make their own brand of hot sauce."... more on Exclaim News.
Not quite sure how cool this can be? Check out the full video below:
