Spice up your FB band page

Although Myspace has lost the personal touch, I still consider it one of the premium places to go check out music.  However, we all know that Myspace is slowly dying while Facebook currently reigns supreme in the social networking scene.  I say 'currently' because in my opinion, social networks seem to go downhill once they become a tool for spamming, endless games and applications.

However, while Facebook does have the majority of traffic between the two, it only makes sense to have all your band information at the same place as your fans. Now it's possible for bands to make the most of their Band Page.

How?  By using Root Music.  Although still in Beta mode, Root Music allows for info from your Facebook account to be pulled right in - giving your FB Band Page all the info that your fans want to see.  Now it's easy to display your songs, tour dates, twitter account, and more.  Not only that, it only takes a minute to publish to your FB band page.

Feel like giving it a try?  Check out the app right here.

Sales pitch over for the day!
